CHARGERS GOLF FINISH EIGHTH AT GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE
INVITATIONAL
Wilmington, DE (4/2/08) The Chargers golf team finished in eight place at the Goldey-Beacom College Two Day Invitational which ended yesterday at Hartefield National Golf Course in Wilmington, DE.
After day one, the team was in fifth place with a team score of 307. Yesterday they shot a combined score of 319 for a two day total of 626.
Senior Brian Mackey (Chestnut Ridge, NY) was the top finisher for DC with a combined 149 (72, 77) to put him in a three way tie for sixth place. Freshman Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) finished in a three way tie for fourteenth place with rounds of 74 and 78 for a total score of 152.
Junior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) tied with four other
players for 24th place with an overall score of 155 (76, 79).
Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) finished with an
overall score of 172 (87, 85) and James Cardona (Suffern,
NY) shot a total 175 (85, 90) to round out the Chargers
scoring.
Dominican is back on the course this weekend at the Dowling
College Invitational held at the Long Island National Golf Course.
