DOMINICAN MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER SELECTED TO PLAY FOR DUTCH NATIONAL TEAM

Orangeburg, NY (3/12/1) Dominican College midfeilder Alex Jones, has been selected to play for Team Holland in the 2010 World Lacrosse Championships this summer in Manchester, England. Jones a junior from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada is Dominican’s first player to be named All-Conference, as well as holding the record for goals in a single season. Jones’s other Dominican accomplishments include team rookie of the year and offensive player of the year as a freshman. As a sophomore he again led the chargers in goals, and was chosen as offensive player of the year. [more]
