CASSIN SILVA NAMED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/18/12) Dominican College cross county runner, Carolina Cassin Silva, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending on October 14th as was announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/18/12)  Dominican College cross county runner, Carolina Cassin Silva, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending on October 14th as was announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Cassin Silva, a freshman from Putnam Valley, N.Y., was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers at the St. John's Fall Festival where she finished in second place overall with a time of 16:29.10.  As a team, Dominican finished in fifth place.

This is her first honor by the conference office this season.

DC will compete in the CACC Championships this weekend.
