LADY CHARGERS CROSS COUNTRY TAKE FIFTH PLACE AT ST. JOHN'S FALL FESTIVAL
Queens, N.Y. (10/14/12) The Dominican College cross country team finished in fifth place out of nine division II, division III and junior college teams that competed at the St. John's University Fall Festival held today at Cunningham Park. The Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 110 to finish behind Baruch College, Monroe College, Hunter College and SUNY-Farmingdale.

Freshman Carolina Cassin Silva (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she finished second overall with a time of 16:29.10.
Sophomore Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) took seventh place with a time of 17:22.46, while Ashley Ramdin (Cliffside Park, N.J.) ran a time of 18:38.48 to finish in 12th place.
Ashley Hodges (Bronx, N.Y.) and Sharrika Brent (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished in 44th and 45th place with times of 23:17.19 and 23:23.23, respectively.
Dominican is back in action next weekend at the CACC Championships.
