LADY CHARGERS CROSS COUNTRY COMPETE AT FORDHAM FIASCO

Bronx, N.Y. (9/8/12) The Dominican College women's cross country team competed at the Fordham Fiasco Cross Country Invitational which was held today at Van Cortlandt Manor Park. DC finished in 10th place out of 12 teams from the division II, III and junior college levels.

Bronx, N.Y. (9/8/12)  The Dominican College women's cross country team competed at the Fordham Fiasco Cross Country Invitational which was held today at Van Cortlandt Manor Park.  DC finished in 10th place out of 12 teams from the division II, III and junior college levels.

Freshman Carolina Cassin Silva was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she ran a time of 21:11.33 to finish in 20th place.

Krystal Campbell (New Windsor, N.Y.) took 35th place with a time of 21:38.88, while Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) ran the course in 22:57.23 to finish in 77th place.

Sophomore Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) finished in 99th place with a time of 24:07.68 and Ashley Ramdin (Cliffside Park, N.J.) took 106th place with a time of 24:27.27.

Junior Antoinette Cato (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished in 124th place with a time of 27:26.64.

Sharrika Brent (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Ashley Hodges (Bronx, N.Y.) finished in 134th and 135th place.

The Lady Chargers will take part in at the Philadelpia Metro Championship on September 22nd.
