WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETE AT ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY FALL FESTIVAL
Queens, NY (10/17/11) The Dominican College cross country team competed in the St. John's University Fall Festival held at Cunningham Park yesterday. The team finished with a combined score of 15, with the first five finishers were all Lady Charger runners.
Queens, NY (10/17/11) The Dominican College cross country team competed in the St. John's University Fall Festival held at Cunningham Park yesterday. The team finished with a combined score of 15, with the first five finishers were all Lady Charger runners.
Senior Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in first place with a time of 15:12.96. Krystal Campbell (New Windsor, NY) took second place with a time of 15:25.66.
Sophomore Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) followed in third place with a time of 15:35.95, while Samantha Klunk (York, PA) ran a tim eof 15:36.83 to finish in fourth place.
Rookie Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, NY) rounded out the top five with a time of 16:26.02. Ashley Ramdin (Cliffside Park, NJ) finished in seventh place with a time of 16:39.41, while Ashley Hodges (Bronx, NY) ran a time of 23:29.75 to finish in 10th place.
Dominican is back in action on Sunday when they compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships to be held at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, PA.
