WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISH SECOND AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Philadelphia, PA (11/7/10) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in second place at the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships held at Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park today.

Philadelphia University took the team title with a combined score of 37, Dominican finished in second place with a score of 88, followed by Wilmington University (89), Georgian Court University (110), University of the Sciences (112), Nyack College (125), Holy Family University (199), Felician College (226), Chestnut Hill College (259), Goldey-Beacom College (300), Caldwell College (303), Bloomfield College (346) and Concordia College (353).
Sophomore Julia Miller (Mount Vernon, NY) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she ran a time of 20:07.13 to finish in third place.
Junior Samantha Klunk (York, PA) finished in 10th place with a time of 20:56.78, while rookie Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) ran a time of 21:00.63 for an 11th place finish.
Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in 21st place with a time of 22:02.75 and sophomore Antoinette Cato (Brooklyn, NY) ran a time of 23:23.38 to finish in 44th place overall to round out the Lady Charger scoring.
Sophomore Keyla Cruz (Bronx, NY) finished in 48th place with a time of 23:55.23 and Amanda Castro (New Rochelle, NY) ran a time of 24:08.64 for a 51st place finish.
