WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISH SIXTH AT CABRINI COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL MEET
Philadelphia, PA (10/24/10) The Dominican College cross country team finished in sixth place out of ten teams that competed at the Cabrini College Cross Country Invitational Meet that was held yesterday afternoon at Belmont Plateau.
Philadelphia, PA (10/24/10) The Dominican College cross country team finished in sixth place out of ten teams that competed at the Cabrini College Cross Country Invitational Meet that was held yesterday afternoon at Belmont Plateau.
Philadelphia University took the team title with a score of 51, followed by Wilmington University 73, Georgian Court University 76, Rutgers-Camden 81, University of the Sciences 119, Dominican College 136, Felician College 191, Holy Family University 193, Chestnut Hill College 222 and Cheyney College 271.
Junior Samantha Klunk (York, PA) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she ran a time of 20:54.14 to finish in 13th place. Freshman Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) took 18th place with a time of 21:16.44.
Teammate Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) ran a time of 22:06.15 to finish in 26th place, while Amanda Castro (New Rochelle, NY) and Keyla Cruz (Bronx, NY) finished in 49th and 50th place with times of 24:02.75 and 24:25.22 to round out the team scoring.
DC is back in action at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships which will be held on November 7th at Belmont Plateau.
