CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES FIFTH AT ST. JOHN'S FALL FESTIVAL
Queens, NY (10/17/10) The Dominican College women's cross country squad finished fifth at the annual St. John's Fall Festival 4K run held this afternoon at Cunningham Park.
Queens, NY (10/17/10) The Dominican College women's cross country squad finished fifth at the annual St. John's Fall Festival 4K run held this afternoon at Cunningham Park.
Host St. John University took the team title with a score of 26, followed by Fordham University 35, Hoftstra University 76, St. Peter's College 101 and Dominican College (130).
Junior Samantha Klunk (York, PA) was the top fnisher for the Lady Chargers as they finished in 17th place with a time of 15:22.02.
Freshman Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) ran a time of 15:54.26 to finish in 23rd place, while junior Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) took 25th place with a time of 16:06.48.
Sophomore Antoinette Cato (Brooklyn, NY) finished in 32nd place with a time of 17:33.12 and Keyla Cruz (Bronx, NY) rounded out the team scoring finishing in 33rd place with a time of 18:48.43.
Dominican returns to action next Saturday when they compete in the Cabrini College Invitational being held at Belmont Plateau.
