Philadelphia, PA (9/27/09)  The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in 10th place yesterday at the Philadelphia Metro Meet held at Belmont Plateau.

The Lady Chargers had a team score of 278 in the finish.  Philadelphia University took the team title, followed by Georgian Court University, Ursinus College, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Nyack College rounded out the top five teams.

Samantha Klunk (York, PA) was the top finisher for Dominican as she ran a time of 22:05.63 to finish in 37th place.  Freshman Schae Auffant (Catskill, NY) finished in 51st place with a time of 22:32.16.

Sophomore Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in 58th place with a time of 22:51.71, while Rolanda Senior (New Rochelle, NY) ran a time of 23:43.84 to finish in 80th place.  Freshman Mayerline Louis Juste (Spring Valley, NY) finished in 83rd place with a time of 23:47.57.

Dominican is back in action next weekend at the 8th Annual Goldey-Beacom Classic.
