LADY CHARGERS CROSS COUNTRY FINISTH 9TH AT NYIT RUNNING OF THE BEARS

Bethpage, NY (9/21/09) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished 9th at the NYIT Running of the Bears cross country meet held this past Saturday.

Freshman Schae Auffant (Catskill, NY) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers with a time of 21:53.50 to finish in 32nd place. Sophomore Samantha Klunk (York, PA) finished in 37th place with a time of 22:08.40.

Fellow sophomore Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) ran a time of 23:09.50 to finish 47th, while freshman Mayerline Louis-Juste (Spring Valley, NY) finished in 54th place with a time of 23:52.70.

Freshman Rolanda Senior (New Rochelle, NY) rounded out the Lady Charger scoring with a time of 24:00.40 for a 57th place finish.

Dominican is back in action next Saturday at the Belmont Classic in Philadelphia, PA.
