LAPPE FINISHES FIFTH AT WILMINGTON UNIVERSITY CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
Blauvelt, NY (9/24/07) Dominican College's Jessica Lappe (Nanuet, NY) finished fifth at the Wilmington University Cross Country Invitational held this past weekend at Carousel Park in Wilmington, DE.
Lappe, the junior captain of the team, finished the
race in 22:08 with a mile average of 7:48. Andrea
Johnston (New Windsor, NY) finished 17th with a time of
25:32, while freshman Jaime Woyce (East Rutherford,
NJ) finished in 20th place with a time of 26:54 and
Jenifer Olin (Oceanside, NY) finished 24th with a
time of 28:25.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday, September 29th at the Belmont Classic, in Philadelphia, PA.
