VOLLEYBALL EARNS PROGRAM'S FIRST REGIONAL RANKINGS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/15/12) The Dominican College women's volleyball program has earned the program's first NCAA East Regional Rankings appearance as the latest rankings were released yesterday. The Lady Chargers were ranked ninth in the East Region and is one of two teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to appear in the rankings.

(11/15/12)  The Dominican College women's volleyball program has earned the program's first NCAA East Regional Rankings appearance as the latest rankings were released yesterday.  The Lady Chargers were ranked ninth in the East Region and is one of two teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to appear in the rankings.

DC recently won the 2012 CACC Championship in a 3-0 sweep over Wilmington University, who was ranked 10th in the rankings.  Dominican earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA East Regional Tournament which will take place November 29th - December 2nd.

The team finished the season with a program record of 19-0 in conference play and has set a new program record for wins in a season with a current overall record of 26-7.
