THREE WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS EARN ALL-CACC ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, NY (11/10/11) Three members of the Dominican College women's volleyball team earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) accolades as was announced yesterday. Juniors Michelle Fiorvanti and Jordyn Fuller* were named to the First Team, while Whitney Ranger earned Second Team honors.
Orangeburg, NY (11/10/11) Three members of the Dominican College women's volleyball team earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) accolades as was announced yesterday. Juniors Michelle Fiorvanti and Jordyn Fuller* were named to the First Team, while Whitney Ranger earned Second Team honors.
Fiorvanti, an outside hitter from Commack, NY, led the Lady Chargers in kills this season for the third consecutive year. This is her second All-CACC selection as she was named to the Second Team in 2009 and received Honorable Mention honors in 2010. This season she recorded her 1,000th career kill and ranks fourth in the CACC in kills and fifth in kills per set.
Fuller, a libero from Keller, TX, makes her first appearance on the All-CACC First Team this season. She led the team in digs for the third time in her career and is a two-year team captain. She tallied her 1,000th career dig this season. Fuller ranks second in the conference in digs and digs per set.
Ranger, a setter from Ventura, CA, makes her second consecutive appearance on the All-CACC Second Team after earning Honorable Mention honors in 2009. She led the team in assists for the third time in her career and ranks second in the conference. She also ranks third in the conference in assists per set.
