LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL BEATS CONCORDIA COLLEGE
Orangeburg, NY (10/13/11) The Dominican College women's volleyball team defeated the Concordia College Clippers for the second time in the span of a week, 3-0, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. With the win Dominican improves to 13-10 overall and 9-3 in conference play.

With the win Dominican improves to 13-10 overall and 9-3 in conference play.
DC never trailed in set one and with the set tied at 19-all, the Lady Chargers went on a 6-0 run for the 25-19 victory. The second and third sets repeated the first as the Lady Chargers never trailed and led by as many as 14 points in the second set and eight points in the third en route to 25-18 and 25-16 wins and the 3-0 match victory.
CACC Player of the Week, Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, NY) led all attackers with 11 kills for a .391 attack percentage. Setter Whitney Ranger (Ventura, CA) added six kills (.444 percentage) and had a match leading 31 assists in the win.
Libero Jordyn Fuller* (Keller, TX) led the team wtih 13 defensive digs, while rookie Kayla Dexter (Selah, WA) also had six kills and a .857 attack percentage.
The Lady Charger offense had an overall attack percentage of .373 tonight.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Wilmington University in a CACC match scheduled to begin at 12pm.
