VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS FELICIAN COLLEGE
Orangeburg, NY (9/20/11) The Dominican College women's volleyball team improved to 7-6 overall and remained undefeated in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play at 4-0 with a three set sweep over the visiting Golden Falcons of Felician College this evening in a match played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.

Between sets two and three, the Lady Chargers honored junior libero Jordyn Fuller (Keller, TX) who had recorded her 1,000th career dig this past weekend in a 3-1 victory over Assumption College at the Adelphi University Tri-Match.
Dominican never trailed in the 25-14, 25-11 and 25-12 victory. As a team the Lady Chargers had a .412 attacker percentage and a 14-2 advantage in service aces.
Junior outside hitter Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, NY) recorded nine kills and a team leading six service aces in the win. Rookie Kayla Dexter (Selah, WA) also tallied nine kills, while sporting a .750 attack percentage.
Setter Whitney Ranger (Ventura, CA) had a match leading 31 assists, while Fuller finished with a match leading 11 defensive digs.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Georgian Court University in conference action set for 11am.
