RANGER NAMED TO ALL-CACC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM
Orangeburg, NY (11/10/10) Dominican College women's volleyball player, Whitney Ranger, has been named to the 2010 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Second Team as was announced by the conference office today. Teammate, Michelle Fiorvanti, received Honorable Mention honors.

Titilola Alao of Caldwell College was selected as th CACC Volleyball Player of the Year, while Philadelphia University freshman Leanna Lillge was named Rookie of the Yearwhile Caldwell's Megan Hrbek was voted Coach of the Year. Nyack College was given the annual Team Sportsmanship Award for the seventh straight season.
Ranger, a sophomore setter from Ventura, CA, leds the team and is ranked in the top five in the CACC in assists (899). She also leads the team and ranks second in the CACC in service aces (68), while also being ranked eighth in the CACC in attack percentage.
Fiorvanti, a sophomore outside hitter from Commack, NY, was the 2009 CACC Co-Rookie of the Year and a Second Team selection. She leads the Lady Chargers with 336 kills and ranks seventh in the CACC.
The Lady Chargers finished the 2010 campaign with an overall record of 16-17 and a CACC record of 12-6. DC received the second seed in the North Division in the CACC Tournament and fell to the third-seeded Deacons of Bloomfield College in a CACC Volleyball Tournament Quarter-Final match last night.
