VOLLEYBALL DROPS MATCH TO POST UNIVERSITY

Waterbury, CT (9/20/10) The Dominican College women's volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host Post University, 3-0 (20-25, 23-25, 22-25) this evening in a match held at the Drubner Center.

Waterbury, CT (9/20/10)  The Dominican College women's volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host Post University, 3-0 (20-25, 23-25, 22-25) this evening in a match held at the Drubner Center.

The Lady Chargers rallied to trail 24-23 in the second set, but an Eagle kill gave them a 2-0 match lead.

Sophomore outside hitter Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, NY) led the team with six kills.  Seniors Kerianne Dudley (Nanuet, NY) and Yashani Smith (West Haverstraw, NY) each recorded three kills a piece in the loss. 

Setter Whitney Ranger (Ventura, CA) had 15 assists, while Jordyn Fuller (Keller, TX) led the team with 15 digs.

With the loss Dominican falls to 5-11 overall and 2-2 in the CACC.

Dominican is back in action on Wednesday when they travel to the New York Institute of Technology for a non-conference match slated for 7pm.
