WOMEN'S SOCCER EXTENDS WINNING STREAK WITH VICTORY OVER CHESTNUT HILL COLLEGE
Lafayette Hill, PA (10/22/11) The Dominican College women's soccer team extended their winning streak to four games after defeating host, Chestnut Hill College, 1-0, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game. With the win, Dominican improves to 6-6-1 overall and 5-4-1 in the conference, while Chestnut Hill falls to 7-8 overall and 5-5 in the CACC.

The score remained 0-0 through one half of play until sophomore forward Olivia Antonopoulos (Baldwin, NY) scored the game winner on a shot over the keeper's head in the 53rd minute of action for the 1-0 victory.
Lady Charger keeper Kaitlyn Hertz (Voorhees, NJ) made three saves in the win.
The Griffins outshot the Lady Chargers, 17-8, and held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
DC returns to action on Thursday when they take on Bloomfield College in a CACC game to be played on the DC Soccer Field at 3:30 pm.
