EXPLOSIVE FIRST HALF LEADS LADY CHARGERS OVER CONCORDIA COLLEGE
Orangeburg, NY (10/11/11) The Dominican College women's soccer team netted four goals in the first half of play en route to a 4-0 victory over the visiting Clippers of Concordia College this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the DC Soccer Field. With the win Dominican improves to 4-6-1 overall and 3-4-1 in conference play.

Freshman forward Jennifer Becker (Hawthorne, NJ) netted her first of two goals of the day on a head shot off the corner kick by Jamilyn Snyder (Lacey, NJ) just three minutes into the game.
DC added a second goal at the 8:33 mark when sophomore Olivia Antonopoulos (Baldwin, NY) scored a goal from the 18 off the pass from Danielle Klecha (Jamesburg, NJ).
Becker struck again in the 11th minute of action for the second goal of the game off the Snyder's second assist for a 3-0 lead.
The final goal of the game came at 28:05 as Klecha tallied a goal of the double assist from Nicole Sanchez (Lyndhurst, NJ) and Becker for the final 4-0 score.
The Lady Chargers out shot the Clippers, 16-5 and held a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Starting keeper Kaitlyn Hertz (Voorhees, NJ) made one save in the first half, while Veronica Iozzi (Chester, NJ) made two saves in the second half.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday when they host Georgian Court University in a 12pm CACC game to be played on the DC Soccer Field.
