WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAY TO 0-0 DRAW WITH CALDWELL COLLEGE

Caldwell, NJ (9/21/11) The Dominican College women's soccer team played host, Caldwell College, to a scoreless tie after 110 minutes in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action this afternoon at Caldwell Field. With the tie, Dominican now stands at 1-4-1 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play.

Caldwell, NJ (9/21/11)  The Dominican College women's soccer team played host, Caldwell College, to a scoreless tie after 110 minutes in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action this afternoon at Caldwell Field.  With the tie, Dominican now stands at 1-4-1 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play.

Dominican's best scoring opportunity came in the 39th minute of action when sophomore Stephanie Falzarano's (Roslyn Heights, NY) shot hit the post.  Caldwell's best chance came in the final minute of regulation on a head shot, but goalie Veronica Iozzi (Chester, NJ) was able to save the shot to force overtime.

The Cougars outshot the Lady Chargers, 19-12 in the contest.

Iozzi finished with six saves on the afternoon.

DC returns to action on Sunday when they host Philadelphia University in a CACC contest scheduled for 12pm on the DC Soccer Field.
