HOLY FAMILY UNIVERSITY BEATS WOMEN'S SOCCER

Orangeburg, NY (9/17/11) The visiting Tigers of Holy Family University beat the Dominican College women's soccer team, 2-0, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the DC Soccer Field. With the loss Dominican falls to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Holy Family University improves to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the CACC.

Orangeburg, NY (9/17/11)  The visiting Tigers of Holy Family University beat the Dominican College women's soccer team, 2-0, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on the DC Soccer Field.  With the loss Dominican falls to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Holy Family University improves to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the CACC.

The Tigers netted their first goal of the game in the 16th minute and added a goal in the 66th minute for the 2-0 shut out victory.

Holy Family University outshot Dominican18-10, while the Lady Chargers held an 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Lady Charger keeper Kaitlyn Hertz (Voorhees, NJ) made six saves in the loss.

DC returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to conference opponent, Caldwell College, for a 4pm game.
