New Castle, DE (10/19/09)  The Dominican College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime tie with host, Wilmington University, this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.

Wilmington controlled the offensive end out of the game, outshooting the Lady Chargers 23-12 and holding a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Lady Charger keeper Valentina Sturchio (Stewartsville, NJ) made 11 saves in the tie.

With the tie Dominican now stands at 5-5-3 overall and 4-2-2 in the CACC.

DC is back in action on Wednesday when they host Felician College in a CACC game scheduled for 3:30 pm at the DC Soccer Field.
