Bridgeport, CT (9/19/05) The UB women's soccer team exploded for four goals in the second half, en route to a 6-0 victory over Dominican on Monday afternoon at Seaside Park.

Bridgeport, CT (9/19/05)  The UB women's soccer team exploded for four goals in the second half, en route to a 6-0 victory over Dominican on Monday afternoon at Seaside Park. The Purple Knights, ranked 15th in the nation, used a pair of goals from All-Region forward Lilja Valthorsdottir and three assists from Sigurros Sigurbjornsdottir to pull away in the second half. Freshman goalkeeper Meg Ryan made her first career start in net and finished with two saves for her first victory.

Dominican goal keepers, Allison Comentino and Sara Cordaro combined for six saves in the loss.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Wednesday as they host Post University in a CACC game.
