DOMINICAN FRESHMAN ALLISON SMITHWICK SWEEPS CACC WOMEN'S LACROSSE HONORS

New Haven, CT (3/27/12) Dominican freshman Allison Smithwick (Commack, NY) swept the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors for the period ending March 26, as she was honored as the CACC Player and Rookie of the Week.

New Haven, CT (3/27/12)  Dominican freshman Allison Smithwick (Commack, NY) swept the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honors for the period ending March 26, as she was honored as the CACC Player and Rookie of the Week.

Smithwick, a freshman attacker, tallied 13 goals and seven assists while guiding the Chargers to a 2-1 record last week.  Won 12 draws and recorded five groundballs.  Only needed 17 shots en route to her 13 scores.  Registered six goalsin wins over Post (3/20) and Philadelphia (3/24).

This is her first Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors this season.
