Valiants Women's Lacrosse Defeats Lady Chargers, 19-7
Blauvelt, NY (4/25/07) The Manhattanville College women's lacrosse team defeated visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers, 19-7 this afternoon in Purchase, NY.
The Valiants held a 11-5 lead after the first half and added eight more in the second for the 19-7 win.
Freshman Ashley Ordemann (Toms River, NJ) led DC with five goals. Althea Chambers (Yonkers, NY) and Stacey Ryan (Mahopac, NY) each had a goal in the loss.
Lady Charger goalie Lindsey Grundfast (Saugerties, NY) tallied 16 saves.
Dominican is back in action on Saturday when they travel to St.
Vincent's College at 2pm.
