Castleton College Upends Dominican Lady Chargers, 24-1

Blauvelt, NY (03/19/06) The Castleton College women’s lacrosse team improved to 2-1 on the year with a 24-1 victory over the Dominican College Lady Chargers (0-2) this afternoon.

Blauvelt, NY (03/19/06)          The Castleton College women’s lacrosse team improved to 2-1 on the year with a 24-1 victory over the Dominican College Lady Chargers (0-2) this afternoon.

Nicole Bouchard (Brentwood, NH) and Alex Fleck (Middletown Springs, VT) each had six goals a piece in the win.  Bailey Emilo (Middlebury, VT) scored four goals and three assists, while Erin Barry (Randolph, VT) had three goals.  Katelyn Greene (Westborough, MA) added three assists.

 Jen Rothenheusen (Queens, NY) scored the first women’s lacrosse goal in Lady Charger history with 8:06 left in the first half.

Lady Charger goalie Morgan Riley (Wappengers Falls, NY) had thirteen saves in the game.

The Chargers are back in action on March 31st when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas College. AGATE
