LADY CHARGERS BASKETBALL BEATS ST. THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE
Sparkill, N.Y. (11/20/12) The Dominican College women's basketball team downed the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans, 67-55, this evening in a non-conference game played at Aquinas Hall. With the victory, Dominican improves to 3-3 overall, while STAC falls to 1-3 on the season.

Dominican never trailed in the contest as they took a 19-10 lead with 8:33 left in the first half and went into the break with a 29-29 advantage. Junior forward KC Jentzen (Pearl River, N.Y.) scored 11 points in the first half.
The Spartans opened up second half play with two consecutive baskets to trim the lead to 29-27, but the Lady Chargers charged back with an 8-1 run to rebuild a 37-38 lead and went on to the 67-55 win.
Jentzen finished with a game leading 19 points.
Senior guard Lindsey Lopez (Elmwood Park, N.J.) added 17 points, going 3-4 from the three point arc and had a team leading four assists.
Bianca Harris (Teaneck, N.J.) grabbed a team leading nine rebounds and score seven points.
DC returns to action next Wednesday as they host Caldwell College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game to take place on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. Game time is set for 6pm.
