WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PARTICIPATES AT MAKING STRIDES AGAINST CANCER WALK

Orangeburg, NY (10/19/10) Members of the Dominican College women's basketball team participated in the Making Strides Against Cancer Walk which was held this past Sunday in Monroe, NY.

Orangeburg, NY (10/19/10)  Members of the Dominican College women's basketball team participated in the Making Strides Against Cancer Walk which was held this past Sunday in Monroe, NY.

The walk was held at Woodbury Commons and drew about 1,000 walkers from the area.  The participating women's basketball players each donated $5 to the cause for a total of $70.00 donated.

This is the first of two activities that the women's basketball team will participate in to fight cancer as they will have their annual "Pink Zone" game in February to raise money to fight breast cancer research.
