#25 FRANKLIN PIERCE UNIVERSITY RAVENS TURN BACK DOMINICAN COLLEGE LADY CHARGERS 

Blauvelt, NY (12/30/07)  The Franklin Pierce University Ravens, ranked #25 in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Division II Poll, turned back host Dominican College Lady Chargers, 70-59 this afternoon in a non-conference game on Coach Baxter Court.

Sophomore Johannah Leedham (Ellesmere Port, England) lead all scorers and three FPU Ravens with 23 points and three steals.  Jennifer Leedham (Ellesmere Port, England) netted 14 points and game leading six assists, while senior Josie Lidke (Chaska, MN) scored 12 points and team leading six rebounds in the win.

The Lady Chargers were led by sophomore forward Adele Laskowski (Wayne, NJ) with 14 points and four rebounds.  Senior guard Dana Rotio (Garfield, NJ) added 11 points, while center Shalissa Burgess (Englewood, NJ) had 10 points and six rebounds in the loss.  Althea Chambers (Yonkers, NY) scored eight points and six rebounds.

With the win, FPU improves to 11-1 overall while DC drops to 7-3 overall.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday, January 5th when they travel to CACC foe Chestnut Hill College.  Game time is set for 1pm.
