Blauvelt, NY (1/24/07) The Dominican College Lady Chargers improved to 12-6 overall and 8-5 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) with a 63-34 victory over visiting Felician College this evening on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. With the loss, Felician drops to 1-20 overall and 0-13 in the CACC.

The Lady Chargers sailed into halftime
with a 41-11 behind nine points from CACC Rookie of the Week,
Adele Laskowski (Wayne, NJ).
Junior forward Dee Dee Smith
(Monticello, NY) led the team with 12 points and two
steals. Diane Burns (Brewster, NY)
added four points and four steals in the loss, while
Kimberly Dunay (White Plains, MD) had a game
leading eight rebounds.
Laskowski
led the Lady Chargers with 14
points. Junior Dana Rotio (Garfield,
NJ) netted seven points and four steals while
Jackie Tracey Spitaleri (Bronx, NY) and
Shalissa Burgess (Englewood, NJ) each had six
points in the win, while Tracey-Spitaleri added
four steals and four assists.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on Saturday when they host
Wilmington College in the Sue Heller Game scheduled for
1pm on Coach Baxter Court.
