LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL LOSE IN CACC SEMI-FINALS

Lakewood, NJ (11/13/09) The Dominican College women's volleyball team, the second seed from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division, fell 3-0 (20-25, 19-25, 16-25) to Georgian Court University, the top seed from the South Division this evening in a CACC semi-final match held at GCU.

Freshmen Kristen Loney (Pine Bush, NY) and CACC Rookie of the Year Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, NY) each had seven kills each in the loss. Courtney Heard (Ventura, CA) added five kills, while CACC Player of the Week, Whitney Ranger (Ventura, CA) had a team leading 23 assists.

Freshman libero Jordyn Fuller (Keller, TX) and Ranger led the team with eight defensive digs a-piece.

With the loss Dominican ends their season with a 22-10 overall record.
