RANGER NAMED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, NY (11/10/09) Dominican College women's volleyball player, Whitney Ranger, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 1st.

Ranger, a 5-8 freshman setter from Ventura, CA, averaged 9.67 assists, 2.67 kills (.727 attack percentage) and 2.00 digs per-set last week. She had a match-high 29 assists in a 3-0 victory against Nyack College.

This is Ranger's first CACC Rookie of the Week honors this season.

The Lady Chargers are currently 21-9 overall and 15-4 in the CACC. They are the #2 seed in the North Division in the upcoming CACC Tournament slated to begin tonight.
