Waterbury, CT (10/20/09)  The Dominican College women's volleyball team completed the season series sweep after defeating the Post University Eagles, 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25,-19) this evening in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action at the Drubner Center.

Junior Yashani Smith (West Haverstraw, NY) led the Lady Chargers with six kills, while CACC Rookie of the Week, Michelle Fiorvanti (Commack, NY) added four kills.  Setter Whitney Ranger (Ventura, CA) tallied 20 assists and freshman Jordyn Fuller (Keller, TX) had a match leading 23 defensive digs in the win.

DC had previously defeated Post on September 22nd 3-1 at the Hennessy Center and owns a 3-0 non-conference match victory over the Eagles at the LeMoyne College Invitational.

With the victory Dominican improves to 18-8 overall and 12-3 in the CACC.

The Lady Chargers are back in action tomorrow as they travel to Chestnut Hill College for a 7pm CACC match.
