FIORVANTI NAMED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, NY (10/19/09) Dominican College women's volleyball player, Michelle Fiorvanti, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 18th.

Fiorvanti, a freshman outside hitter from Commack, NY, averaged 3.90 kills at a .281 hitting percentage, 2.20 digs and 0.30 blocks per game in a 3-0 week for the Lady Chargers. She registered match-high totals of 16 kills against Caldwell and 14 kills at Wilmington.

This is Fiorvanti's third CACC Rookie of the Week honors this season.
