LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS CHESTNUT HILL COLLEGE, 3-0
Blauvelt, NY (9/22/07) The visiting Lady Chargers of Dominican College defeated Chestnut Hill College, 3-0 (30-12, 30-23, 30-11) this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's volleyball game.
Junior Theresa Hanneman (Pearl River, NY)
led all attackers with a season high 12 kills. Fellow junior
Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) added seven
kills and a team leading 15 digs, while Ashley Simpson
(Spring Valley, NY) had five kills in the win.
Setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) had 20 assists.
Chestnut Hill was led by Krystina Kissick with six kills, while Caitlin Rickey had seven assists in the loss.
With the win the Lady Chargers imrpove to 2-5 overall and 2-2 in the CACC, while CHC falls to 0-4 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on Tuesday when they host
Bloomfield College in CACC women's volleyball action. Game
time is 7pm on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
