Regina Pietanza

Pietanza enters her first year as the women's track and field coach.   

A native of Pearl River, NY, Pietanza, was an member of the Pearl River High School Cross Country team from 1994-1998 where she competed in two National Competitions, earned All-League and All-County honors and was a team captain.  In 1997, she had the honor of participating in the Empire State Games.

After high school, Pietanza spent a year as a member of the George Mason University Cross Country team before transferring to SUNY-Rockland.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2004.

Pietanza is actively involved in the annual "Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure" as she fundraises money and runs in the Central Park Race.  She is also an original team member of Pirates for the Cure and recently joined the Glen Rock Triathlon Team.

She is currently employed as a pre-school teacher at Tiny Toes and is the Arts and Crafts Coordinator for the town of Clarkstown Day Camp.
