WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD OPEN UP 2013 SEASON

Galloway, N.J. (3/24/13) The Dominican College women's track and field team opened up the 2013 season as they competed at the Stockton Invitational yesterday which was hosted by Richard Stockton College.

Galloway, N.J. (3/24/13)  The Dominican College women's track and field team opened up the 2013 season as they competed at the Stockton Invitational yesterday which was hosted by Richard Stockton College.

Sophomore Brittany Austin (Highland Mills, N.Y) took 15th place in the shot put event with a throw of 9.28m.  Austin also competed in the discus throw where she took 11th place with a throw of 29.75m.

Senior Sharrika Brent (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished in 37th place in the 200m dash, while Ashley Hodges (Bronx, N.Y.) finished in 41st place with a time of 32.39

Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) competed in the 400m dash where she took 13th place with a time of 1:04.58.

Dominican will compete at the St. John's University Monday Meeting on April 1st.
