TRACK COMPETES AT RICHARD STOCKTON INVITATIONAL
Galloway, NJ (3/26/12) The Dominican College women's track team competed at the Richard Stockton Invitational which was held this past Saturday at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. DC competed in eight events with six top five finishes.

In the 200m dash, freshman Amber Lacey (Mount Vernon, NY) took third place with a time of 27.86. Sharrika Brent (Brooklyn, NY) finished in 11th place with a time of 30.61.
Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, NY) ran a time of 1:05.48 in the 400m dash to finish in ninth place, while Ashley Hodges (Bronx, NY) took 17th place with a time of 1:10.94.
Sophomore Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) competed in the 800m run where she finished in fourth place with a time of 2:35.31.
Krystal Campbell (New Windsor, NY) took fifth place in the 3000m run with a time of 11:51.62.
The DC distance medley team of Avila, Keyla Cruz (Bronx, NY), Roncace and Samantha Klunk (York, PA) won the event with a time of 13:46.85, while the 4x100 meter relay team of Brent, Cruz, Hodges and Lacey took fourth place with a team score of 55.17.
In field events, Brittany Austin (Highland Mills, NY) took second place in the discus throw with a throw of 31.28m.
