WOMEN'S TRACK OPENS SPRING SEASON AT ARMORY COLLEGIATE CHALLENGE

New York, NY (2/24/12) The Dominican College women's track team opened up the spring 2012 season by competing at The Armory Collegiate Challenge held yesterday at the The Armory.

New York, NY (2/24/12)  The Dominican College women's track team opened up the spring 2012 season by competing at The Armory Collegiate Challenge held yesterday at the The Armory.

Freshman Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, NY) finished in 21st place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.22, while Keyla Cruz (Bronx, NY) ran a time of 2:36.79 to finish in 25th place.

Crystal Campbell (New Windsor, NY) and Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) took 21st and 22nd place in the 3000 meter run with times of 11:37.89 and 11:50.67.

Freshman Brittany Austin (Highland Mills, NY) competed in the shot put prelims where she finished in 10th place with a throw of 9.66m.
