WOMEN'S TRACK COMPETE AT 2011 WEST POINT OPEN

West Point, NY (4/16/11) The Dominican College women's track team competed at the 2011 West Point Open which was held today at Shea Stadium.

West Point, NY (4/16/11)  The Dominican College women's track team competed at the 2011 West Point Open which was held today at Shea Stadium.

Junior Samantha Klunk (York, PA) finished in fourth place in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:00.85.

Freshman Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) ran a time of 5:19.04 to take 21st place in the 1500 meter run, while Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in 24th place with a time of 5:22.00.  Krystal Campbell (New Windsor, NY) finished in 34th place with a time of 5:39.59.

Freshman Amanda Castro (New Rochelle, NY) took 15th place in the 800 meter dash with a time of 2:56.07.  Sophomore Michelle Brito (Washington Heights, NY) took 19th place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 33.46.
