WOMEN'S SOFTBALL RANKED IN NCAA EAST REGION POLL

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/1713) The Dominican College softball team has been ranked in the first NCAA Division II Women's Softball Regional Rankings which were released by the NCAA this afternoon.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/1713)  The Dominican College softball team has been ranked in the first NCAA Division II Women's Softball Regional Rankings which were released by the NCAA this afternoon.

The Lady Chargers have been ranked ninth in the East Region rankings with an overall record of 21-17.

Dominican is one of three teams in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to appear in the rankings.  Caldwell College has earned the top spot in the East Region, while the Wildcats of Wilmngton University has been ranked 10th.

DC has faced six of the top ten teams in the East Region, holding a victory over #5 Molly College and a double-header sweep over #10 Wilmington University.  The Lady Chargers will square off against Caldwell College tomorrow in a CACC clash.
