CHILDERS NAMED CACC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Orangeburg, NY (4/2/12) Dominican College softball player, Delaney Childers, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 1st. Wilmington University's Katie Warrington was named the Pitcher of the Week, while Felician's Aimee Lopez was tabbed the Rookie of the Week as was announced today.

Wilmington University's Katie Warrington was named the Pitcher of the Week, while Felician's Aimee Lopez was tabbed the Rookie of the Week as was announced today.
Childers, a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, posted .520 (13-of-25) batting average and a .840 slugging percentage last week while leading the Chargers to six wins over eight
games. She also went 3-1 in five appearances on the mound while boasting a 0.49 ERA.
Childers won her first CACC Player of Week Award this season after previously garnering a pair of CACC Pitcher of the Week honors in 2012.
