JEPPSON AND CHILDERS EARN WEEKLY SOFTBALL ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, NY (3/6/12) Dominican College softball players, Deidre Jeppson and Delaney Childers, have earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly softball accolades as was announced today. Jeppson was named the CACC Player of the Week, while Childers earned the Pitcher of the Week honors. Dara Schroeder of Georgian Court University was tabbed the Rookie of the Week.

Jeppson was named the CACC Player of the Week, while Childers earned the Pitcher of the Week honors. Dara Schroeder of Georgian Court University was tabbed the Rookie of the Week.
Jeppson, a senior outfielder from Sylmar, CA, hit .441 (15-for-34) with five RBI over 10 games last week, which saw the Chargers post a 5-5 overall mark. She had three games with multiple hits last week and scored a total of eight runs.
Childers, a junior left-handed pitcher who hails from Johnstown, OH, tossed four shutouts over seven starts last week. She recorded 39 strikeouts over 36.0 innings while allowing just seven runs and hurled a seven-inning one hitter against Assumption (3/2) while fanning 11.
