SOFTBALL ANNOUNCES 2012 SCHEDULE

Orangeburg, NY (12/14/11) The Dominican College softball team announced the release of its schedule for the 2012 season. The Lady Chargers will open up the season during their annual spring break trip to Florida and return to play in 40 scheduled contests.

Orangeburg, NY (12/14/11) The Dominican College softball team announced the release of its schedule for the 2012 season.  The Lady Chargers will open up the season during their annual spring break trip to Florida and return to play in 40 scheduled contests.

Dominican will begin the season on February 28th when they take on Florida Tech in a non-conference double-header and follow with Eckerd College on February 29th.  From there, the Lady Chargers travel to the National Training Center (NTC) Spring Games where they will play in six more non-conference games.

Upon returning, DC will have their home opener on March 14th against Southern Connecticut State University and begin Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a home double-header against Georgian Court University on March 18th.

The regular season concludes on April 21st against Philadelphia University, which will also be Senior Day at the DC Softball Field.

The CACC Tournament is slated to take place April 26th-28th.
