WASSMANN NAMED ECAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Orangeburg, NY (3/23/11) Dominican College softball player, Shelby Wassmann, has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week for the week ending March 20th as was announced by the ECAC yesterday. Wassmann also has earned the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week honors which was announced on Monday.

Wassmann also has earned the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week honors which was announced on Monday.
Wassmann, a freshman infielder/desginated player from Loudoun, VA, hit .533 in a 5-1 week with six runs, six RBI, four doubles and one home run, along with a 1.000 slugging percentage. She went 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI in the second game against University of the Sciences. Wassmann homered in a 2-1 win in game one against the Devils and drove in a pair of runs against Le Moyne.
