FOUR MEN'S SOCCER PLAYERS EARN ALL-CACC ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/2/12) The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) office announced the honorees of the 2012 All-CACC Men's and Women's Soccer Teams at the annual soccer awards banquet Thursday night. The Dominican College men's soccer team had four players earn All-CACC accolades and one player receive Honorable Mention honors.

The Dominican College men's soccer team had four players earn All-CACC accolades and one player receive Honorable Mention honors.
Sony Narro (Stamford, Conn.) and Pedro De Araujo (Campinas-Sp, Brazil) were named to the All-CACC First Team, while Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) and Jorge Zubillaga (Punta del Este, Uruguay) earned Second Team honors.
Matthew Shutter (Alpine, N.Y.) received Honorable Mention accolades.
Narro, a junior midfielder earns his second All-CACC accolades as he was named to the Second Team and the Rookie of the Year in 2010. He leads the Chargers and is tied for fifth in the conference in scoring, leads the team and is tied for seventh in assists. Narro also ranks fourth in the conference in points
De Araujo, a senior midfielder makes his first appearance on the All-CACC Team. He has played in all 16 games this season. De Araujo was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team in 2010 and has been Dominican's Top Sophomore and Junior Male Scholar Athlete.
Ruiz, a junior goalie ranks fourth in the conference in saves and fifth in save percentage. He is seventh in goals against and third in the goals against average. He has started all 16 games this season.
Zubillaga, a junior forward is second on the team in goals. He ranks seventh in the conference in goals, second in shots.
Shutter, a senior defender earns his second straight Honorable Mention accolades. He was previously named to the All-CACC Second Team and and the All-Tournament Team in 2010.
