DE ARAUJO NAMED TO CAPITAL ONE ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAM
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/2/12) Dominican College men's soccer player, Pedro De Araujo, has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team as was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America yesterday. This is De Araujo's first All-District accolades.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/2/12) Dominican College men's soccer player, Pedro De Araujo, has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team as was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America yesterday. This is De Araujo's first All-District accolades.
De Araujo, a senior midfielder has played in all 16 games this season. De Araujo was named to the CACC All-Tournament Team in 2010 and has been Dominican's Top Sophomore and Junior Male Scholar Athlete. He also recently made his first appearance on the All-CACC First Team.

The 2012 Capital One Academic All‐District ® Men's Soccer Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Capital One has been the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA's Academic All‐America teams programs since 2011.
The Capital One Division II and III Academic All‐America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2012‐13 DII and DIII Academic All‐America® teams program.
First‐team Academic All‐District ® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All‐America® Team ballot, where first‐, second‐ and third‐team All‐America honorees will be selected later this month.
