CHARGERS SOCCER LOSE TO POST UNIVERSITY

Waterbury, Conn. (9/19/12) The Dominican College men's soccer team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game to host Post University, 3-1, this afternoon in a game played at LaMoy Field. With the loss, Dominican falls to 3-2-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Waterbury, Conn. (9/19/12)  The Dominican College men's soccer team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game to host Post University, 3-1, this afternoon in a game played at LaMoy Field.  With the loss, Dominican falls to 3-2-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

The Eagles accounted for all of the scoring in the first half with three consecutive goals to go ahead 3-0.

DC tallied their lone goal at the 67:14 mark as sophomore forward Clodalain Lolo (Stony Point, N.Y.) netted the goal.

Keeper Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) made two saves.

The Chargers outshot Post, 16-14 and held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Dominican is back in conference action on Saturday as they host Goldey-Beacom College at 3pm on the DC Soccer Field.
