HEEMBROCK EARNS ALL-CACC ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, NY (11/1/11) Dominican College men's soccer play, Brandon Heembrock, has been named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team for the third consecutive year as the 2011 All-CACC Men's Soccer Team was announced yesterday. The 12 CACC head coaches conducted the voting.
Orangeburg, NY (11/1/11) Dominican College men's soccer play, Brandon Heembrock*, has been named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team for the third consecutive year as the 2011 All-CACC Men's Soccer Team was announced yesterday. The 12 CACC head coaches conducted the voting.
Heembrock, a senior goalie from Ottawa, Canada, makes his fourth appearance on the All-CACC Team as he was named to the Second Team in 2008 and to the First Team in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Heembrock lead the CACC in saves, save percentage and goals against average. He started all 18 games in the net for the Chargers and has been a team captain for the last two season.
Junior Matthew Shutter (Alpine, NY) received Honorable Mention accolades after being named to the All-CACC Second Team in 2010. He played in 17 games this season for the DC defense and tallied one goal and one assist.
